Sun 10th May – The Ealing Eagles team up with Quit the Gym.

Sun 10th May sees QtG taking the warm up for the Gunnersbury Park 10k… Quite a few of you have said you are keen to do this run, so sign up here and come join us –

Sat 16th May – Toddlers and Parents class

It’s FREE for this week – so anyone who wants to book their place must email ahead. For this first Saturday only, we will hold the class at both Ealing Common 9am and Lammas Park 10.30am. We will then re-assess how popular this class is… so please make sure you come along 🙂 The plan going forwards will depend on interest levels…

We will run the adults and kids classes separately – the adults will go to the existing Quit the Gym class – whilst the kids aged 3-6 years old will participate in the Quit the Gym Games for Toddlers class! We will run the toddlers class next to the QtG class so that you can join in with exercise whilst being close enough to step in if your child needs parental assistant. The instructor is fully qualified to take kids classes. Please email with your toddler’s name and age, and your name, phone number and the class you want to attend! PLACES ARE LIMITED!

Sat 30th May – The BIG BAD BONKERS WALK – only 15 miles

So who fancies a day trip from Pangbourne to Henley on Thames on Sat 30th May? It’s 56 minutes on the train directly from Ealing Broadway and the walk is 15 miles – so it will take around 5 hours… finishing in a lovely pub in Henley. Please check the link below and see what you think – please email if you are keen or I’ll assume you aren’t coming! We have a hiking hero booked into take us on the hike. It will be an all day event – if you fancy staying overnight there are lots of nice places in Henley! More info on this to follow.

Sat 20th Jun – Finally, but not least, Quit the Gym celebrates its 4th birthday!!

Happy Happy Happy 4th birthday to Quit the Gym.

Yay, we are well and truly established in Ealing – more fun, friendlier and fitter than ever – I’m speaking about you guys! So please come along on Sat 20th June to the Osterley 10k

That’s the exercise bit sorted – and after, we’ll continue in true QtG style. We will be arranging a picnic in Lammas Park from 1pm – a few games, a few treats and perhaps the kind of rehydrating that make us all be a little silly. Bring buddies, families, partners, neighbours and kids…  and a wee bit of food and drinks. There is already talk of a bake off – I think someone one who doesn’t bake might have to be the judge of this – the bidding starts at 10 burpies!

Wow – Gold Star for those who read this all 🙂
